Make Big Profits Buying Cheap Items

One way I make huge profits buying and selling on Craigslist is buy buying broken items, fixing them, and selling them for higher prices which yield me high profit margins. I have a computer repair shop that I run, and so have the facilities to buy computers cheaply, fix them, and sell them for high profits. I know, not everyone is handy enough to fix item themselves, but I bet almost everyone knows someone who can fix things, and that person may very well be interested in fixing things for you in exchange for some kind of compensation. Usually the price you can buy a broken item for, even with repair costs, will still yield you a high profit margin. Search your mind for some handy people in your life that would be interested in making some money fixing items for you. I'll bet you come up with more than a few people. If you think that person may make a good business partner, approach them, and enlighten them on the idea. Work out a fair price, but one where you are still making big profits. You can even check around locally and see if there are any businesses in your field that would be interested in doing repairs for you. If you give them enough business they will give you low rates.

Broken things can be gotten at rock bottom prices, and if you can repair items to be like new condition, you can make big money buying and selling on Craigslist.

Items under warranty

In buying broken items, be aware of the manufacturer date of the item because the damage may very well be covered under warranty! This happened to me in the case of the Macbook Pro I talked about on the sales page of this ebook. I saw it on Craigslist for $200. I bought it thinking I could fix it myself, but after further investigation, I found that it was less than a year old and STILL COVERED UNDER MANUFACTURER WARRANTY! I sent it to Apple got it fixed and sold it for $1000! Many sellers will overlook this, and you can capitalize on this if you are sharp.
